About the Role:
This role is focused on supporting our expanding clinic network by coordinating services that keep our facilities looking good, operating effectively and meeting contractual requirements. The role includes office time, which can be done from a home office, combined with the ability to travel to the clinic locations around the Chicago area (suburbs and Chicago proper) as needed. The time commitment is approximately 15 hours/week.
Responsibilities Include:
- Schedule HVAC maintenance and reporting to landlord that maintenance has been completed in accordance with requirements
- Schedule periodic exterior cleaning of front windows and/or building entry
- Set up contracts for snow removal from front sidewalks/walkways
- Establish contract for waste removal at clinic sites (medical waste and regular trash)
- Contracting for and managing daily site cleaning services for all sites
- Coordination of annual fire extinguisher inspection / certification as well as annual fire alarm system inspection / testing
- Coordinate completion of any repairs needed at any of the sites from time to time which could include:
- plate glass
- doors/windows
- plumbing
- HVAC
- lighting
- filters
- dehumidifier
- internet service
- Technology support is not part of this role
- Coordinate Insurance claims or reimbursement requests from lessors
- Record-keeping - Maintain spreadsheeted records evidencing status of each task and for each site
- Adhere to all Policies and Procedures as applicable
- Learn to communicate Caring Network mission as well as identify and celebrate Core Values whenever they are demonstrated
- Attend monthly all-ministry meetings and other meetings as determined by Manager
Requirement
Candidate Requirements:
- A professing Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the organization’s Statements of Faith, Principles and Core Values
- Enthusiasm for and commitment to the mission and strategy of the organization
- Comfortable with participating in prayer with co-workers
- Experience or aptitude in the building trades or in property management
- Flexible and possesses a sense of urgency
- Well organized and with good follow-through skills
- Basic computer skills including MS Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat and Internet Research/Searches
- Effective communication skills
- Works well with others in all situations
- Must be willing to participate in applicable training
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
