About the Role:

We are looking for a part-time Director of Communications who is responsible for all ministry partner marketing & communications efforts that are not part of the Direct Response strategy. This includes messaging, oversight of special events, social media, website, and special projects. Coordinates projects with and oversees tasks of the Marketing Manager, Special Events Manager and Assistant Special Events Manager.  The position reports to the President and is 20-24 hours/ week.

Responsibilities Include:

· Messaging - works with the President, VP of Direct Response Marketing, the Development team, the V.P. of Clinics to ensure consistent messaging and voice for ministry partners, churches and new clinics in written and digital communications, website and events. 

· Written communications – oversees design, writing and production of all brochures, annual prayer card, event and church collateral materials, event speeches, new clinic communication and misc. projects.

· Digital communications – working with the Marketing Manager, the DOC oversees, reviews, edits and approves all printed collateral materials including, website content, social media marketing, blog content, prayer request emails, client story cards, affiliate clinic communication and event materials. Oversees relationship with contract marketing partner on website maintenance and updates, SEO and social media.  (The Marketing Manager, reporting to DOC, along with assistance from the Digital Marketing Assistant, is responsible for the writing of blogs, social media posts, and story cards.) 

· Ministry Events – DOC oversees a team of two Special Events Managers who coordinate all day-to-day planning for ministry events including the annual banquet, annual spring fling auction and dinner, church baby bottle drives, and smaller events including women’s center open houses, supporter coffees and new events as needed. DOC is directly responsible for the coordination and organization of night-of- event programming including content of speeches, program flow and coordination with partner A/V team. 

· Video – plans, organizes and edits all video shoots for ministry needs including:  client testimonial videos, women’s center/clinic walk-throughs, baby bottle drives for churches and general marketing needs. Coordinates all shoots with videographer, client services team, Director of Restore program and individual clients.

· Grants - Works with the President, and Leadership Team on all grant needs and writes grant applications as well as researches and uncovers new grant opportunities.

Requirement

Candidate Requirements:

· A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church

· Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion

· Agree with and be willing to uphold Caring Network’s Statements of Faith and Principle and Core Values; Humility, Mutual Respect, Sacrificial Love, Optimism, Excellence, Integrity, Mission Focus, & Perseverance

· Enthusiasm for and commitment to the mission and strategy of Caring Network

· Comfortable with participating in prayer with co-workers

· Have 2-5 years’ experience in Marketing Communications, preferably in a ministry, church or non-profit organization

· Familiarity with grant writing

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Have a Bachelor’s Degree
