About the role:
We are looking for a Nurse/Sonographer to provide excellent medical services while maintaining professional standards of care, with the primary goal of impacting decisions for life. This role can be filled by either an RN or a RDMS; we will train the right individual for this position.
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and Director of Nursing, the Nurse/Sonographer is responsible for performing direct and indirect medical interventions, including the provision of limited ultrasounds. The Nurse/Sonographer facilitates caring relationships with clients and, as appropriate, will support pregnancy consultant’s efforts, including spiritual discussions. Works in conjunction with physicians and consultants to assure clients are receiving the best medical and psychosocial care possible. Positions are available in Glen Ellyn, Darien, and Elmhurst.
Responsibilities include:
- Performs limited ultrasounds while gathering and analyzing clinical data.
- Maintains a warm, caring atmosphere for patients while focusing on the goal of impacting decisions for life.
- Keeps accurate records on file and performs client follow-up care plan.
- Provides education for clients to develop an understanding of their health condition and pregnancy options.
- Aids consultants as they engage in significant conversations with clients
- Office upkeep such as ordering supplies, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, etc.
- Assists with staff development such as oversight of medical team, recruiting and training, communication of procedural updates.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirement
Candidate requirements:
- A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church
- Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion
- Agree with and be willing to uphold Caring Network’s Statements of Faith and Principle and Core Values; Humility, Mutual Respect, Sacrificial Love, Optimism, Excellence, Integrity, Mission Focus, & Perseverance
- Enthusiasm for and commitment to the mission and strategy of Caring Network
- Adheres to clinic policies and procedures
- Participate in prayer as appropriate
- Ability to share the Gospel, the good news of salvation
- Holds current active credential as an RN or RDMS with good standing with the ARDMS or a licensed Registered Nurse by the state board of professional registration.
- Dependable, organized, flexible, teachable, team oriented, self-starter, administrative ability, responsive and able to work well with other team members.
- Respects confidentiality, maintaining HIPAA regulations.
- Strong computer skills and skilled in problem solving
- Exhibits consistent timeliness
- Must be compassionate, loving, full of respect for others, and able to leave judgment in the hands of God
- Fluency in Spanish is not a requirement but is a plus.
Compensation: $29/hr with $5,000 signing bonus
